tranformers 3:dark of the moon

Hello fan/(s), its been a while hasn’t it.

Work has been hectic, but that’s not a bad thing. The day goes quicker, and you feel good about yourself when you complete projects and challenges.

What am I doing right now? I’m sipping on my long black coffee that I get from my regular Italian barista who always farewells me with “chao”, he now also gives me a free biscotti with every coffee. (That’s a biscuit/cookie for those who are thinking, “What the heck is a biscotti, is it a condom?”)

I have an exciting week ahead of me too, tonight is the final game of State of Origin, it’s one a piece, NSW vs QLD (these are states in our country for our overseas visitors and the sport is rugby league). Its a very exciting time for rugby fans alike, and I know my eyes will be glued to the screen for the full 80 minutes of game time.

I have also organized babysitters so my wife and I can go watch Transformers 3: Dark of the moon in 3D. I am so excited. As a kid I grew up with these guys, not physically, but this was the cartoon that every young boy would watch. We would then act it out in school, transforming from man to something that resembles the fetal position on the floor and back again. I admit I am a big kid, having collected all the toys from the Transformers movies 1 & 2, and the collection for Transformers 3 figurines has already started. My display cabinet is now full, so some of my new robotic friends will have to remain boxed at this stage of their lives until my wife allows me to get another cabinet. I will have to buy her a new handbag or something like that, perhaps a shoe.

While I am on the topic of Transformers, something I saw the other day while on the train caught my eye. An elderly man was wearing jeans with a belt that had a massive silver and shiny Autobot buckle, I do love my transformers, but I think that is taking it a bit too far. I would love to see what happens when another chap walks by with a Decepticon belt buckle. I wonder if they will transform to fetal positions and then roll into each other. (Its funny, spell check wanted to replace Decepticon with the word conception, now that would be a great belt buckle).

Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed the read, following is an image of one on my most recent purchases ready for a new display cabinet.
