Hello fans, you may remember a week or so back I posted some images from the same museum using my external fish eye lens that attached to the iPhone. Today I finally retrieved the images from my digital SLR. I had to intended to take a lot more photos, though I did make a rookie mistake; Knowing that the museum is not lit well to create its effects, I left my Tripod in the car. So I only have a few select using the wall, a stroller, my sons head, or whatever I could find to take some still images without a flash.

As soon as we entered the museum, we swooped in to see some stuffed animals, this eagle caught my eye.

Then I took a snap at this crocodile.

We couldn’t contain our excitement anymore and headed straight for the dinosaur bone displays. I was still smacking the palm of my hand on my forehead for not bringing the tripod, muttering unkind words to myself for the error, even this┬áVelociraptor was having a go at me “ROOOOOAAAAR, DON’T FORGET YOUR TRIPOD NEXT TIME”.

Nearby, a Muttaburrasaurus baring his bones was begging for a shot, I used the stroller to keep the camera still.

Then I stumbled upon an Ankylosaurus head. I like to refer to these dinosaurs as tanks.

Not 100% sure, but I think the following is a Chasmosaurus, the Belli species. Apparently there are two species of Chasmosaurus, the other known as Russelli had three horns instead of just the one.

Another horned dinosaur, I have no idea what this one is called. Please enlighten me.

Finally Giganotosaurusaurs, the first shot turned out alright balancing on my sons head, the other was a bit blurred so I just played with an effect during editing.

I hope you enjoyed the walk through the museum with me, if only I had my tripod I would of have had a whole lot more. Oh well, just an excuse for me to go back again some day. Thanks for stopping by.
