Hi fans, I realize it’s been over a week, so from today I have decided to try to post a photo everyday, whether it be with from my SLR or iPhone.

Having to wait for a nice day to get out and about to get some nice pictures with my SLR doesn’t happen too often, today I will start with some shots from Cheeky Chocolate taken from my iPhone today, a local cafe with vintage french decor, accompanied with french music playing in the background. The coffee and desserts are always a treat.

The entrance to the cafe…

And finally some macaroons on display.

Funnily enough I didn’t get any shots of what my wife and I actually had. Until the next post….

I thought I would share with you a shot I took of a dessert I cannot get enough of, Ricotta Cannoli.

Whenever I go past an Italian patisserie, I have to jump in to pick up a box of these bad boys. Nothing beats sitting down on the lounge in front of the TV on a cold winters day, the heater keeping me warm with a coffee in one hand, and a Ricotta Cannoli in the other, and then someone special to clean up afterwards. If I had three hands, the other would be holding my PlayStation controller, or possibly my wife’s hand.

Hello fans, today I would like to share a picture of a Limoncello Cup I had for dessert yesterday, my wife and I got one each from Five Dock which is a suburb of Sydney known for it’s Italian population, and therefore it’s Italian restaurants and cafe’s. It was a tasty treat.

I still remember the first time I had actual Limoncello whilst I was in Positano on the Amalfi coast. The friendly waiter, an elderly Italian man asked me to join him for a drink (since my wife and I were the only ones in the restaurant). He poured me a shot and turned around to put the bottle back, so as I do with any shot glass, I picked it up and sculled it. He turned around laughing and saying “You bloody people from Australia, drink too fast, you supposed to sip it slowly and enjoy it after dinner”. We had a good laugh and that was the end of that. I took a quick picture with the couple which I will try and post later on when I get a chance and I also have a few shots of Lemons in that region.

Anyhow, here is my dessert.
