Hello fans, the weather in Sydney has been cold and wet, so I haven’t had a chance to get outdoors to take some new pictures. I decided to browse through some images from past Travels in Europe again and today I chose to share some scenery from Florence in Italy.

This shot below was taken from our hotel window, I couldn’t get enough of Italy’s historic buildings.

Having spent a month in Italy, without fail everyday we started our lunch and dinners with some Italian bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar (Gelato was also a daily treat).

You can’t go to Florence without visiting the church of Santa Maria del Fiore. This is the bell Tower that we conquered.

The following two images were taken from the bell tower towards the rest of the cathedral and the drop if you happened to slip.

The following pictures are of Ponte Vecchio. This was Florence’s first bridge built across the Arno River in 1935. It is the only surviving bridge from Florence’s medieval days. All others were destroyed in World War II.

I hope you enjoyed my random selection of images from my travels in Florence. Hopefully the weather clears up and I can get out and about to get some new pictures.
