Sup fans, I had a really big night out at Bungalow 8 bar in Sydney 2 weeks ago and had these random shots on my phone, I don’t really remember the night thanks to alcoholic beverages, all I know is that it was an awesome night.

Hello fans,

My daily photo challenge is an epic fail thus far, I may have to change it to the weekly photo challenge.

The following pictures were taken from my iPhone last Friday on our way to the Commodore Hotel in McMahon’s Point for lunch, it’s just a short 5 minute walk from North Sydney station for those who would like some specifics. We actually walked past  the view below at first when I saw the bridge through the bushes which you can see in the shot below, then I stumbled back to get the other one.

Let’s see how the rest of my daily/weekly photo challenge goes….

Sup fans, today was a very busy day for our team at work but I’m glad it’s over.

Today there was a combination of exciting items as explained in the subject, though not combined.

First of all I will explain “Lunch”, my colleagues and I went to Nando’s Portuguese restaurant for lunch. I had a Mediterraian salad as seen below with additional “hot” grilled chicken. I enjoyed the chicken, feta, cherry tomatoes and the greens, but one of my pet hates is when olives are mixed in a dish, and not pitted. Sure it’s easy to spit out the seed, but I don’t enjoy placing a mouthful of chicken and salad in my mouth only to have to concentrate on how to remove the seed that is sitting in the middle of it all. Anyway, that’s my whinge, I’m over it now.

Next topic, “Mould”. D has a mug on his desk which originally was left with a bit of unfinished coffee, it was somehow forgotten in the sands of time and now has started to grow. We agreed that this should be allowed to live like the rest of our species, though it will be covered with cling wrap to hide the interesting scent. Personally I hope that a new species will develop from this and we will become famous. See below, I may be able to provide you with an update in a few weeks.

And finally, “Bridge”. After work I decided to go for a walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I usually run across, but you don’t really take in and appreciate the lovely views, and it’s sometimes nice to do it this way. Below are just some of the shots taken from my iPhone.

See you all soon….

Not doing too well with my “daily” photo challenge thus far, I’ve manage to post 3 days out of  the last 5 which isn’t too bad, but then I shouldn’t really be calling it a “daily” photo challenge.

I again failed to capture an image on my iPhone today so decided to pick out a picture from my family trip to Lindeman Island early last year which lies on the east coast of Queensland, a state of Australia, approximately 10km from the mainland judging by my Google maps eye measurement system.

I chose something that I wasn’t too proud of (but made me laugh at the time), it’s a shot of my son having a go down a slide which he was very excited about, it was about knee height and therefore not a long slide. As he positioned himself on top, I decided to get a photo of his experience.

As he smiled and waved at the camera, I said “go, go, go”! In the time it took my camera to focus with the half press, the following image is what was produced. Instead of pushing himself down, he dived down and went over the edge. He got up off the floor unimpressed that my wife and I where in tears laughing at the image that appeared on the camera as you will see below.

I gave my boy and hug and he was all smiles again and ready for another go, this time more gracefully.

Sup fans, I have already failed my daily photo challenge 2 days into it, I tried my best to get a picture yesterday and decided no one should have to see the broccoli and mushrooms that accompanied my sausages I had for dinner.

Today I took my kids to Sydney Park in St.Peters (Sydney), the kids “loved” the playground and I’d recommend it to any parent that wants to get the kids out of the house. I enjoyed taking photo’s of the historic site that used to be part of the old brick works building that was built back in the 1870’s.

Following are a few shots taken from my iPhone, I have a lot more on my SLR but it will take me some time to edit, so I will post those later.

Firstly, a bit of art I saw on a truck that was selling chicken wings. The chefs were apparently famous, not famous to me though, my wife is my famous chef.

At the top of the hill we got a good view of Sydney city.

We left as the sun was setting, a good way to finish off the day.

Hope you enjoyed our trip in Sydney Park….

Sup fans, to try and keep my daily photo challenge happening, I took some shots of my weights today using my iPhone after a session. I tried to make them look as artsy as possible, if that’s even a word.

I generally lift weights three times a week at home and do some form of cardio whether it be jogging, cycling, boxing or skipping one or two times a week in addition.

I miss being part of a sports club, I previously trained Muay Thai just before my wife and I had kids, but decided it was better to train at home to spend more time with them, what a dad!! Perhaps if I was still training there, some of my daily photo’s would of been cuts and bruises, some were fantastic. I remember coming home to my wife saying “Check this out” with a big smile on my face, and generally she would respond by shaking her head and rolling her eyes at me.

Below are my wonderful Dumbbells, followed by my exotic Curl bar, a 4 stack of 1.25kg weights, and a bit of my bench.

It proved to be quiet a challenge to select something simple from my every day life, and then try and make it something worth looking at through the eyes of a camera. I hope that I have achieved that here today, if not, I can only try.

Hi fans, I have been on an exciting SharePoint course all week filling my brain with technical knowledge, in fact I think it is already full and there is still two days to go.

I spent a moment of my life waiting for others to complete the labs by taking a snap of my booklet. Now this is excitement.
